The route covers a total of 1,524 miles, all in Nevada, with only 12% on Interstate Highways. The route has been designed to work well both for riders with stock fuel tanks, and for riders with auxiliary fuel. Riders with big fuel capacities can make long runs without required documentation stops: from Fallon to Baker (320 miles), and West Wendover to Tonopah (290 miles). Us mere mortals with stock tanks have plenty of mid-point gas options if necessary — Austin between Fallon and Baker, and Ely between West Wendover and Tonopah. Plus, you get an almost complete end-to-end run on the Nevada portions of both US-50 and US-6, with 180 miles on I-80 as a mid-ride refresher and an early morning run on the famous Extraterrestrial Highway.
Charitable Donations
As part of their registration, riders make a charitable donations to Eddie's Road, an organization dedicated to ending the cycle of child abuse.
Rally Headquarters
The rally will be headquartered at the Alamo Inn on US-93 in Alamo, Nevada.
